Our Story

In 2025 we offered a club membership to help get the Mahjong community in Auburn going after everyone attended Mahjong 101. In addition to teaching over 500 people the game, in our first year we hosted 2 mini-leagues, 3 tournaments and over 1200 people at open play events. Our 2025 club was 97 members strong and our members and other friends branched outside of the club to include weekly open play meetings at coffee shops, restaurants, homes and even bible study based mahjong groups. We accomplished our goal of spreading the joy of Mahjong throughout Auburn!

Our plan for 2026 is to continue to host quality classes, open plays, leagues and tournaments for everyone to attend. We will not have a package of open plays to purchase like 2025, but instead each event will be open to all and available to join as your schedule allows!
